Some people are happy to follow their own programme in their own time and place. For those who lack the time, motivation or energy to train effectively on their own, a Personal Trainer can be the answer. The support, advice and encouragement I provide you with also comes with safe exercise techniques to help you avoid injuries and to also help you reach your fitness goals.

You can achieve results by working out in a gym, in the park, or at home. It is more a matter of your availability and what is most convenient to you. With my tailored programmes you can workout from anywhere that feels most comfortable for you. 

Personal training by design incorporates your needs, goals and preferences. I will ask you some initial questions during your consultation, which will probe the demands that are placed on you by your job or lifestyle. Typically these questions will be about :

  • Basic personal details
  • Medical background
  • Fitness background
  • Nutritional habits
  • Personal goals and objectives in relation to fitness
  • Sleep and stress management 

I will provide information and advice about nutrition, stress management, motivational techniques and then be able to refer you on to others where the need may arise (a referral to a physio for example).

I have a range of training plans available, from my PT@Home Workout Packages to my Online Coaching where I coach clients anywhere in the world to reach their fitness goals.

PT@Home is for people who would like to have me personally train them. You would work out from home for these programmes. These are 8 ‘Silver’ sessions and 12 ‘Gold’ sessions. 

There are a variety of packages available online, from taking things at your own pace with the ‘Solo’ Package for 4 weeks with limited support from me, to having a more intense routine and more full-on coaching from me with either the FlynnFit Coaching 8 weeks or FlynnFit Coaching 12 weeks packages available. 

It’s really what works for you and what goals you would like to achieve, and how quickly. These can be worked out when you attend your initial consultation with me.

It really depends on what package you decide to purchase. If you choose either the Gold or Silver PT@Home packages, you will for example receive training sessions, equipment brought to your home, three cookbooks in pdf format, a training plan, and more. https://declanflynn.fitness/ptathome/

Alternatively, you can choose an online programme from any of my online packages, which include the ‘solo’ package, ‘Coaching 8 week’ package, or the ‘Coaching 12 week’  package. Each package is tailored towards your schedule and we will build the programme based on your individual needs.

You can do your online training at any time that suits you.  

PT@Home has to be booked and pre-arranged for the period of time paid for in advance. 

If you need to cancel a pre-arranged session, 24 hours notice will be required and this session can then be deferred.  

If a session is canceled on short notice, that session will not be transferred and payment will still be incurred.

With the gold and silver packages, you would have a set number of sessions per week. With the gold package, you will work out three times a week, while with the silver package you will work out twice a week. Both these packages are 4 weeks long. 

Online training you can do anything from 2 to 5 times a week depending on your fitness level, goals and available time.

Working out consistently with a routine is key to making the changes that you desire. You will start to feel and see the results. Like anything, you will get more out of it if you put more in.

My tailored workout programmes include three unique 30 page PDF cookbooks with accompanying video instructions. This will support your workout routine and set out the recipes that you should eat throughout the day and not just after your workout. 

One of my favourite recipes is chicken and parma ham with potatoes and broccoli, which you can see in the picture below.

Having a good diet is essential to making your transformation. By utilizing my cookbook daily with your workouts, you will see that transformation take place.

I personally don’t do the plans myself but I have linked up with an Irish based company that does. 

Shape My Plan is an online platform that generates weekly meal plans with interchangeable meal options that are all centered around your calorie and macro goals.

No, you don’t have to have fitness equipment, there’s so much that can be done with little to no equipment.
